The word Biodiversity comes from the word "Biological" and "Diversity". It is the variety of life on earth. It includes all the living things, including plants, animals and microorganisms and their unique characteristics.
Species Diversity
is the type of biodiversity most commonly talked about, but there are several at different levels.
Genetic Diversity
refers to the diversity of genetic characters within a space.
